Post-Judgment Enforcement

Obtaining a judgment is only half the battle.  In a perfect world, the court would award a judgment and you would get paid, but unfortunately it does not always work that way.  A judgment is only a piece of paper.  Post-judgment remedies must be employed to turn that piece of paper into money for the judgment creditor.  Enforcing the judgment takes time, effort and expertise.

Attorney Jonathan A. Barash has the expertise and the tools to locate debtors and their assets and to recover funds for our clients.  The most common remedies and enforcement procedures include: placing liens on real property owned by the debtor, garnishing wages and bank accounts, and levying on a debtor’s personal property.

To discuss the enforcement and collection of a judgment that you have already obtained against a debtor and arrange a consultation, contact Jonathan A. Barash at 404-941-8790.
